As Egyptians and the World waited for Mubarak’s speech on 10th February, @marionnette90 started a hashtag on twitter that caught on fire on Twitter. #ReasonsMubarakIsLate became the number one trending topic world-wide in less than an hour. There was classic Egyptian humour and I was planning to create a ‘best-of’ for it but AJE’s The Stream beat me to it.
They used a cool (and free) web service called Storify, which allows people to create stories using a mash of tweets, web videos, and any pieces items from social media you can find.
