Very interesting footage of Nasser discussing his opinion on the "hijab" -- the veil. In this footage, mid sixties, Nasser relays a discussion he had, earlier on, with a representative of the MB (Islamists). The rep told Nasser that he must enforce the hijab on all women. Nasser told him off; he said that he can't force 10 million to wear what he likes, that women should wear what they please. The interesting part was that the audience found this argument extremely funny. That was around fifty years ago--people found that concept amusing. And now it is not amusing anymore but a reality.
